Senior Project Manager Ronald S. Coté founded Auxilar Marketing, LLC, a consulting firm dedicated to maximizing client marketing effectiveness and efficiency. Your marketing success is his focus as he guides the performance improvement toward the creation of a Marketing Excellence Culture using Lean principles and best marketing practices. Building better information and communication practices are two key methods used to find and satisfy customers. Ron readily assists clients turn goals into loyal customers and is willing to share the challenges of the effort. His passion is to raise client competitiveness by better understanding and satisfying customers.

With over thirty years in senior and executive management positions, Ron is experienced at building, revitalizing and optimizing a company’s marketing performance. His activities include marketing measurement and process improvement systems, market research, training, new product development and marketing strategies to optimize results. Throughout his career he has worked as a marketing manager, GM, corporate trainer, process improvement consultant and college professor using both his MS & MBA degrees from the University of Massachusetts.

Clint Strout is a Business Consultant with a wide range of educational and business experiences. His educational background includes degrees in Management and Accountancy, as well as MBA studies at two universities. He also has special training in quality improvement, employee performance management, performance measurement, executive coaching, financing, and cost accounting.

Clint's professional background includes experience as a business owner, controller at a $50M manufacturing plant, CPA, business analyst, strategic planner, management consultant, and college instructor.

 Clint’s services include:

  • Business Analysis through Management Auditing to identify opportunities for overall organizational improvement, as well as cost reduction and control, and profit improvement
  • Strategic Planning to focus on opportunities for revenue growth and operational improvement

MacIntyre Consulting

Following a career in senior management with aerospace, medical and other high technology manufacturing companies both in Maine and away, Mr. MacIntyre retired as the Director of the River Valley Technology Center, one of Maine's technology-based small business incubators. He is currently a business development consultant advising start-up and emerging technology companies. Mr. MacIntyre also provides consulting services to member companies of the Manufacturers Association of Maine through its Business Services consulting group.

As a former senior executive with one of Maine's most advanced aerospace precision manufacturing companies as well as a Board Member and Chair of the Maine Technology Institute representing the Precision Manufacturing industry sector, Mr. MacIntyre is very familiar with the economic climate in the state and particularly the challenges facing fledgling companies and emerging industry clusters.

Mr. MacIntyre holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from the US Naval Academy and a Master of Business Administration degree from Southern Illinois University.

Management Engineering

Edward J. Kearney is a multi talented Professional Engineer with over 45 years experience in the manufacturing environment. His experience includes manufacturing management from line foreman to division manager in a high tech environment including ultra high reliability production. His staff responsibility includes project management, worldwide materials management and quality control.


Management Engineering has consulted in all phases of manufacturing across a broad industrial base. Typical projects include plant layout, process flow, cell design, lean manufacturing, process design and simulation, quality control, standard costs, site selection and facilities specification. In addition, Management Engineering has developed business plans, secured venture financing and participated in a number of economic studies related to manufacturing.

Prescott Associates

As a member of the MAMe Board of Directors, Neal Prescott serves as liaison for the association's Business Services Group developing a solutions delivery capability to members.

Neal has held sales management, CEO and owner positions with manufacturing companies in machine tools, injection molding automation, fluid power, and textiles. He more recently helped mentor the MEP national manufacturing consulting effort for the US Department of Commerce while working for NIST in Washington DC.

Neal is president of Prescott Associates Inc. a consulting company specializing in family business challenges. He also continues to manage Novatec Braids Ltd. the synthetic rope manufacturing company in Nova Scotia he founded in 1991.

S. J. Miller Enterprises LLC

Stuart "Stu" Miller has an MS degree from the United States Naval Academy and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Business, Northwestern University. In addition to his diverse roles while an aviator in the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Marine Corps, his 25+ years in the manufacturing industry has involved him with companies that implemented such quality management systems as QS-9000 (auto industry focused) and ISO-9000. Additionally, he has held several senior manufacturing positions with Maine and other New England companies, all of which resulted in successful implementations of lean manufacturing systems. He also is an adjunct professor at USM, teaching advanced operational systems.

 

Stover Consulting

ELFORD BRUD STOVER, STOVER CONSULTING, a graduate of Bowdoin College, has 40 plus years of experience in the business world. Over a 29 year career at Bath Iron Works, Brud was responsible for developing a diversity of industrial business opportunities, managing customer relations, overseeing construction of Industrial Products, including steam generator bases, gas turbine bases, fuel gas and lube oil modules products, and Trident and Los Angeles Class submarine components.

Clients included Newport News, Electric Boat, Raytheon, GE-Fitchburg, GE-Schenectady, MIT and many other major OEM'S. For the past 12 years, he has been working as a service provider and Consultant to small and medium manufacturing companies in the State of Maine, providing guidance and leadership in successfully integrating Marketing, Sales, and Lean Manufacturing.
